Ex-congregation Sues Pastor

The Advertiser reports
that an alienated Shreveport congregation has filed suit against their former pastor. The former members of Riverside Baptist Church allege that the pastor, Lee Jenkins, changed the church's theology and practice in 2000, thereby alienating a large number of the congregation. They allege that the pastor then illegally donated the church to the new congregation, which is about to be sold for $1.5 million.
